The Keystone Standard - Terms
When you hire a Keystone company, you are hiring a promise that started back in 1984 in Lancaster County. Frank Kessler founded this family of trades on a simple idea: if you do the work right the first time, you don’t need fine-print contracts to hide behind. The Keystone Standard is our written workmanship promise covering every job we complete. For 90 days after we finish your project, if something we touched isn’t working as it should, we will come back and make it right. No claim forms, no long debates, and no runaround. Just a person, in a truck, at your door to fix it.
What’s Covered
The Keystone Standard is built on the K.E.Y.S. values: Krafted right, Every time, Your home first, and Standing behind it. We believe a guarantee is only as good as the handshake behind it. Here is what that commitment includes for your home:
- Workmanship: We guarantee the labor and installation methods used on your project for 90 days. If a pipe joint leaks, a shingle slips, or a furnace connection fails due to our install, we repair it at no cost to you.
- Honest Pricing: We stand behind our estimates. The price you agree to before we start is the price you pay. We do not believe in surprise fees or hidden costs that appear once the job is underway.
- On-Time Service: We respect your schedule. If we promise a window for arrival, we arrive within that window. If something unforeseen happens on the road, we call you before our arrival time, not after.
- Make-It-Right Resolution: If you aren’t satisfied with the quality of our craft, we don’t argue. We come back and stay until the job meets our standards.
How to Make a Claim
We want to make this as straightforward as possible because we know your time is valuable. If you believe a repair or installation is failing within the 90-day window, please call the specific Keystone brand you hired directly. You do not need to fill out a warranty card or submit a formal claim document. Simply describe what you are seeing, and our team will coordinate a time to inspect the work. We prioritize these follow-up visits just as highly as new service calls. If the issue is related to our workmanship, we will dispatch a technician to resolve it immediately. We are here to ensure the job is done properly, not to look for reasons to say no.
Conditions
While we stand behind our work, the Keystone Standard relies on a few reasonable good-faith conditions to keep us fair for every customer. This guarantee applies to the specific workmanship we performed; it does not cover existing issues elsewhere in your home or failures caused by parts we did not supply or install. We ask that you provide our team with reasonable access to the property to perform the correction. This guarantee assumes the system or area has been used under normal, intended conditions. If a third party has tampered with or altered our work after we left, the 90-day promise is void. We are responsible for our craft, but we cannot be responsible for external factors beyond our control.
Terms may vary slightly by brand and local regulations.
